It starts with a conversation about where you’d love to go, who’s coming along, and what would make the trip special for you. We’ll talk through your travel style, priorities, and budget. We’ll also explain our planning fee and let you know what’s included before you commit.
Then we take on the research and coordination, bringing you thoughtful recommendations for hotels, experiences, and how it all fits together. You’ll have a say in the details without having to figure everything out yourself. Together, we refine the itinerary, then we arrange the booking and logistics.
Before you leave, you’ll have your itinerary and travel details in one convenient app. And while you’re away, we’re here to help if plans change or something unexpected comes up.

Hi! I’m Meaghan
I I believe the best family vacations do more than take you somewhere beautiful. They bring you closer together, introduce you to extraordinary places and people, and create stories you’ll still be telling years later.
I’m the founder of Elated Escapes, a luxury travel advisory specializing in thoughtfully designed international journeys for families, particularly those with teens, college-age children, and multiple generations traveling together.
Before becoming a travel advisor, I spent years working in communications and public relations in Silicon Valley and writing for national publications. I’ve also been featured as a travel expert in The New York Times, CNN Travel, Travel + Leisure, and USA Today.
Today, I combine that background in research, storytelling, and understanding people with a lifelong curiosity about the world. My travels have taken me from the jungles of Cambodia and Costa Rica to the deserts of Namibia, the cities of Japan, and countless fascinating places in between. I believe firsthand experience makes me a better advisor, and I’m always looking for extraordinary experiences worth sharing with my clients.
As the mother of two young adults, I also understand how family travel evolves as children grow up. The trips become less about keeping everyone entertained and more about discovering what brings everyone together.
Through my affiliation with Departure Lounge and the prestigious Virtuoso network, I have access to exceptional hotels, trusted local experts, and exclusive benefits around the world. I use those relationships, along with my own destination knowledge, to create journeys that feel personal, seamless, and genuinely memorable.

“What can I say about our trip to Africa?? It was absolutely a dream. Every detail was so thoughtfully planned that all we had to do was enjoy and make lasting memories. Our time on safari was hands-down the best part — even our guide and tracker said we were incredibly lucky to spot every member of the Big Five (multiple times, including babies!) in only one day. We came home with over 5,000 photos! Other highlights? The cheetah experience, the Elephant Whispers experience, and the Care for Wild sanctuary experience. As passionate animal lovers, these experiences deeply moved us — and even inspired us to get more involved. Our son had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to assist with a baby rhino’s medical care. The baby, named Hercules, had been severely injured by hyenas. It was one of those rare, powerful connections that we’ll never forget. We couldn’t have done any of this without your help, and we’re truly thankful that you made this one of our favorite trips ever!”
